Aluminium Cleaner 101 is a mildly acidic solution used for cleaning and pickling of aluminium. It reacts with the oxide layer, leaving a dull uniform finish.

It can be applied before welding or used afterwards to remove welding burn.

It is also used before painting to give a clean surface for improved adherence.
